How a check gets published

  1. Ask the assistants. We put the same question to ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and others, and record exactly what each returned, with the date.
  2. Gather the published sources. Primary sources only — the organisation that actually published the figure, not a site repeating it.
  3. Find why they differ. This is the part that takes the time and the part nobody else does. A disagreement almost always traces to a method or condition nobody stated.
  4. Publish with the receipts. Every source named, linked and dated, so you can check the work. Full detail in our method.
